Foremost Group Chair and CEO Angela Chao will be speaking at the fireside chat segment of the 2021 NEXTChina Conference, which will be held virtually and in-person from November 10-11, 2021. (The fireside chat will be held online on November 10.) The theme of the conference will be Navigating Competitive Interdependence. Ms. Chao and other leading executives, thought leaders, and decision-makers will share their perspectives on US-China relations and what they think is the right way forward both in terms of business and geopolitics throughout the coming decade. They will discuss how competitive interdependence has played a part in their work and the way they think those dynamics shape their aspirations for the future. Specifically, each in their own way, they will seek to answer the question of whether the two countries can maintain global stability while pursuing their own national interests.
As chair and CEO of Foremost Group, an American shipping company with worldwide operations and a reputation for its commitment to reliability, exceptional performance, and high ethical standards, Ms. Chao is uniquely positioned to offer insightful views that will benefit all in attendance. She will be speaking alongside Fred Hu, who is the CEO of Primavera Capital, a global investment firm. The chat will be moderated by Caroline Pan-Giordano, a partner and corporate group head at Dorsey & Whitney LLP's New York office.
