Angela Chao, Deputy Chair of Foremost Group, will be the keynote speaker at the annual ASBA Cargo Conference to be held this year. The Conference is one of the premier events in the maritime industry. It garners an impressive list of participants and sponsors from the maritime industry, as well as media sponsors. The two-day conference provides attendees with a number of learning, networking, and social events.

​The Chinese American Academic and Professional Society (CAAPS) will be awarding Angela Chao the Distinguished Entrepreneurship Award in recognition of her achievements, leadership, and commitment to entrepreneurship. The ceremony will take place at the CAAPS annual gathering. The convention and banquet will be held at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, in Flushing, New York.
